EASA – European Union Aviation Safety Agency visited Wingcopter last week.
They wanted to learn more about our operational procedures and flight crew training methods. EASA’s goal is to engage with various drone companies to gain a deeper understanding of current industry standards, with the aim of creating regulations that are both relevant and effective.
We are pleased that we were able to impress EASA at our regular commercial BVLOS operation in Odenwald (Germany) with our well-established procedures and detailed training programs that closely adhere to EASA requirements. We look forward to working with EASA to continuously scale the regulatory framework towards commercial operations of the emerging drone industry.
