Skills Required: Intimate knowledge of Pixhawk, Ardupilot and Mavlink protocol
Strong build knowledge of drones
Ideally with coding & software knowledge

Must be able to pilot FPV and Line of sight – ideally multirotors and fixed wings.

– Lead and oversee the design, development, and implementation of complex engineering projects
– Conduct research, analyze data, and perform calculations to determine project feasibility and requirements
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables
– Create and review technical specifications, drawings, and documentation
– Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot issues to identify and implement effective solutions
– Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
– Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

– Ideally Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles, with a focus on system design and development
– Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, and schematics interpretation
– Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis
– Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

This role is initially specific and linked to a project, but if you become a vital team member then a permanent position could be offered.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract

Salary: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
