Madrid – The Spanish UAV helicopter manufacturing company Alpha Unmanned Systems
(AUS) has been participating this week in Euronaval 2022, the international trade fair and
conference applied to naval defense and maritime security, which this year is being held in
Paris from October 18th to 21st. This is one of the most important events in Europe within
the defense sector, and in this case, it has been very focused on the marine environment,
where UAVs are in great demand.

AUS arrived at Le Bourget Exhibition Park with a UAV system including an A900 UAV
helicopter from DCI Group, one of the most prestigious and recognized defense operators in
Europe with a close relationship with the French Ministry of Armed Forces and with training
and supply tenders at the highest level.

“DCI has been interested in Alpha and the operational capabilities of its combustion engine UAV
helicopters because of their excellent data on range, flight range, ability to carry sensors and
high payloads and their outstanding performance in a maritime environment, as evidenced by
our recent customers in Indonesia and the Greek Navy,” said Eric Freeman, CEO of AUS.

The A900 platform (MToW < 25 kg), specifically designed for use in the Defense and Security
sector, has evolved into a demanding naval sector where its capabilities have been recognized
with its acquisition by NATO navies. Capabilities derived from its reliability, robustness, high
payload capacity and in-flight power generation allow it to operate with a huge range of
intelligence payloads, both active and passive, as well as to act as an observer, designator and
airborne pollution detector.

At the DCI booth, Alpha has installed an A900 helicopter with a 100% operational Epsilon 140Z
2G sensor that can be used from a GCase-Duo, Alpha’s multi-screen control station, and its
“electronic sniffer” capable of detecting excessive levels of air pollution and retaining a legal
sample, have also been present at Euronaval.

Alpha Unmanned Systems (AUS) is an international technological reference in its sector, both
for its fuel-powered helicopter UAVs, up to 25 kg PMaD (MToW,) and for its engineering
capacity working for third parties. Founded in 2014 with Spanish capital and headquartered in
Madrid, AUS has made direct international sales to both institutional organizations
(governments and the Armed Forces) and private entities. Clients are located in Spain, Israel,
the USA, Greece, Indonesia, Georgia, Turkey, and the European Union. Equipped with a
professional, highly motivated and highly trained team and a clear commitment to its target
markets, Alpha is in the top three of its sector of activity worldwide.
